Bhagavad Gita 1.10
अपर्याप्तं तदस्माकं बलं भीष्माभिरक्षितम्।पर्याप्तं त्विदमेतेषां बलं भीमाभिरक्षितम्॥
aparyāptaṃ tadasmākaṃ balaṃ bhīṣmābhirakṣitam |paryāptaṃ tvidameteṣāṃ balaṃ bhīmābhirakṣitam ||
Our army, marshalled by Bhishma, is insufficient, whereas theirs, marshalled by Bhima, is sufficient.
Yet our army seems weaker, though commanded by Bhishma; their army seems stronger, though commanded by Bhima.
Our plain-language meaning of this verse is waiting for scholar review.
